# Anti Sniping Penalty

Last updated: \[May 15th, 2026]

**Built for the first few blocks, where humans cannot realistically react.**

Anti-Sniping is nad.fun’s launch protection system for the first few blocks after a token is created.

It applies a short **buy-side penalty** to make instant bot-speed sniping less attractive. The initial buy during token creation does **not** receive a sniping penalty.

### Sniping Penalty

The penalty is based on the number of blocks since token creation.

The penalty ends after the first few blocks, after which normal trading begins.

| Blocks since creation | Buy penalty |
| --------------------- | ----------- |
| 0 | 80% |
| 1 | 40% |
| 2 | 20% |
| 3 | 15% |
| 4 | 10% |
| 5 | 10% |
| 6 | 5% |
| 7+ | 0% |

Anti-Sniping helps reduce bot-speed advantage, but it does not guarantee fair entry, price stability, or profit.<br>
