# Fee Vaults & Routing

Last updated: \[May 15th, 2026]

Fee Vaults are the destinations or actions that receive the Customizable Fee allocation selected by the token creator.

Creators can choose one or more Fee Vaults during token creation, set percentage allocations, or use a preset provided by nad.fun.

### How Fee Routing Works

1. The creator selects a preset or custom fee allocation during token creation.
2. The creator chooses which Fee Vaults will receive fees.
3. When trades occur, the selected fee portion is accumulated.
4. Fees are routed based on the creator’s selected vault allocation.
5. Some vaults execute automatically, while others require verification or manual claiming.
6. The selected fee-routing structure cannot be freely changed after token creation.

### What Creators Can Configure

At launch, creators can:

* Choose one or more Fee Vaults
* Set the percentage allocation for each selected vault
* Use a preset allocation
* Create a custom split
* Review the final routing structure before launching

Example custom split:

| Vault | Example allocation |
| -------------- | ------------------ |
| LP Support | 35% |
| Buyback & Burn | 35% |
| Creator Fee | 20% |
| Gift Vault | 10% |

This means each selected vault receives its assigned share of the customizable fee allocation.

Actual presets, limits, and available configurations are shown in the token creation flow.

### Available Fee Vaults

#### Gift Vault

Gift Vault allows part of the trading fees to be assigned to a designated X account owner.

The X account owner must verify ownership and register an EVM wallet address through a verification tweet. Once verified, the registered wallet can claim the accumulated fees on nad.fun.

If verification and wallet setup are not completed within 7 days of token creation, Gift Vault fees are redirected to Buyback & Burn.

**Important** The recipient must post the EXACT tweet below to claim the gift.

#### Buyback & Burn

Buyback & Burn uses part of the trading fees to buy back the token from the market and burn it permanently.

This removes purchased tokens from circulation. Buyback & Burn runs automatically once the required threshold is reached and does not require manual claiming.

Buyback & Burn does not guarantee price increases, trading demand, or returns.

#### LP Support

**LP Support** uses a portion of trading fees to support a protocol-designated liquidity pool.

Fees accumulated during the bonding curve are applied after graduation to help strengthen liquidity depth and support a more stable trading environment.

LP Support does not directly distribute rewards to LP providers and does not guarantee profits or price increases.

For launches that do not graduate within 3 months, unusable fees locked in the LP Support vault may be redirected to ecosystem support initiatives at the protocol’s discretion.

#### Creator Fee

Creator Fee allocates part of the trading fees to the token creator.

The claim wallet is the wallet connected when the token is created. Fees are not paid out automatically and must be claimed manually on nad.fun.

The creator claim wallet cannot be changed after token creation except through an approved Community Takeover process reviewed at nad.fun’s discretion.

### Presets

nad.fun may provide preset fee-routing options to make token creation easier.

Presets are designed to make launching easier, while custom splits give creators more control over how fees are routed.

### Claims and Verification

Some vaults work automatically. Others require manual claiming or verification.

| Vault | Automatic? | Claim required? |
| -------------- | ---------- | --------------- |
| Gift Vault | No | Yes |
| Buyback & Burn | Yes | No |
| LP Support | Yes | No |
| Creator Fee | No | Yes |

Gift Vault requires X account verification before fees can be claimed.

Creator Fee claims are assigned to the wallet connected at token creation.

### What Traders Should Review

Before trading a token with Customizable Fees, users should review:

* The total fee rate
* Which Fee Vaults are enabled
* The percentage allocation for each vault
* Whether any fees are claimable by a creator or Gift recipient
* Whether Gift verification has been completed

Customizable Fees give creators more flexibility, but they also make it important for traders to understand each token’s fee structure before participating.

### Important Notes

-Customizable Fees are designed to support more flexible token design and more transparent fee routing.

-They can help creators build around liquidity, buybacks, burns, creator operations, Gift recipients, community rewards, and other creative mechanisms.

-Customizable Fees do not guarantee price increases, returns, liquidity depth, trading demand, or long-term project success.

-Users should always review the token page, fee allocation, creator details, and project context before trading.
